Webb6 apr. 2024 · Open the Cell Library dialog. From the menu there, Attach your DWG as a cell library. Check ON the option to "Use Shared Cells" This should list every block in your DWG. Choose the block you want, and select that for "Placement". Now you should be able to use the regular MicroStation "Place Cell" tool to place the block as desired. WebbMicroStation shared cells are similar to AutoCAD blocks. A shared cell is a cell whose elements are stored only once in the DGN file, regardless of how often the cell is placed within the DGN file. Any change made to one instance of a shared cell reflects in all instances of that shared cell.

Webb28 maj 2024 · I'm not sure they are actual shared cell definitions that Microstation is picking up but, whatever they are it gets very annoying. I know that these non-graphic elements can come from other software running with Microstation (like InRoads). I see this often with outside firms sending us files.
